3-Day WHP Approved in Cyprus

DormFresh is pleased to announce that a 3-day withholding period (WHP) has been approved for 1,4SIGHT® in Cyprus, effective from 18 September 2026, following approval by the Ministry of Agriculture.

With this approval, growers can benefit from increased flexibility when managing stored potatoes and shipping schedules while still maintaining high-quality, field-fresh potatoes . 

The active substance 1,4-DMN is naturally produced by potatoes and other plants. In potatoes, it plays a role in regulating tuber dormancy.
