TASC and DormFresh Launch Innovative Potato Storage Test Facility in Germany

A proud moment for DormFresh and our partners at TASC International as we officially opened our new state-of-the-art potato storage and sprout suppression trial station in Rosche, Germany, on May 6, 2025! This facility features six gas-tight chambers with automated temperature, humidity, and CO₂ controls, designed to support cutting-edge research into sustainable sprout inhibition methods—especially vital following the EU's ban on traditional inhibitors like CIPC. With a storage capacity of 36 tons across 310 square meters, the station sets a new benchmark for postharvest quality, sustainability, and supply chain management while supporting EU product approvals.
