Validity of 1,4SIGHT authorisation in Germany extended

The German authority BVL has published on 10 July 2025 the extension of the validity of the product authorisation of 1,4SIGHT in Germany until 30 November 2028.

This decision followed the extension of the active substance approval in the European Union earlier this year.

Storage managers can continue to plan with 1,4SIGHT to maintain potato quality. Germany also allows the flexible use of 1,4SIGHT in store with a shorter withholding period (WHP) of 3 days.
